Washington High School Basketball - Northwest ripped by Vashon Island
December 5, 2018: Vashon Island, WA 98070 The Vashon Island Pirates basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Northwest House to 23 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Pirates now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburn Mountainview for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 8. Vashon Island will meet a Lions team coming off a 91-36 league loss to Federal Way (Federal Way, WA). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
The House (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bear Creek (Redmond, WA). The Grizzlies enter the 1A Emerald City contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Bear Creek triumphed over Sultan (Sultan, WA), 75-64, in a non-league contest.
