Texas High School Basketball - Kermit ripped by Midland

The Midland Bulldogs basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Kermit Yellow Jackets to 55 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Angelo Central for a 6A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, December 21. Midland will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 74-30 non-league win over Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-3.

The Yellow Jackets (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tenaha (Tenaha, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Tenaha was routed by LaPoynor (LaRue, TX), 100-57, in a non-league contest.
