In Friday's non-league match, the host Pace Academy Knights basketball team scored a decisive 58-21 triumph over the Carver Panthers.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) in a AAAA Region 5 match, on Tuesday, January 2. Pace Academy will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Wolfpack enter the match with a 7-6 record after their 71-52 non-league win over Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA).
