Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Weeki Wachee Hornets (Weeki Wachee, FL), 9-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hernando upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Leopards travel to Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL) to battle the Sharks in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 7. The Sharks come into the test with a record of 3-1. Nature Coast Tech won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Lecanto (Lecanto, FL)

With the defeat, Weeki Wachee falls to 1-3 on the season. The Hornets host Crystal River (Crystal River, FL) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 7.
