Alaska High School Basketball - Anchorage Christian fells Barrow
December 15, 2022: Utqiagvik, AK 99723 Anchorage Christian Lions (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK), 68-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Anchorage Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Blue Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Blue Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus won 91-20 in their recent league bout against White Pine (Ely, NV)
Next up, the Whalers clash with the Mt. Edgecumbe Braves (Sitka, AK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Barrow will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 78-65 non-league loss to Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK).
