North Carolina High School Football - South Robeson drops to Lake View
September 16, 2016: Rowland, NC 28383 In Friday's non-league game, the Lake View Wild Gators (Lake View, SC) football team knocked off the host South Robeson Mustangs (Rowland, NC), by a score of 44-14.
The Wild Gators (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC). The Riptide come into the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Charleston Math & Science was knocked off by Allendale-Fairfax (Fairfax, SC), 56-0, in a non-league game.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fairmont for a Three Rivers 1A/2A game on Friday, September 23. South Robeson will battle a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 37-7 non-league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 1-3.
