Leeds Greenwave (Leeds, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Ashville Bulldogs (Ashville, AL), 56-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Leeds upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Greenwave host Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-4. Oak Mountain lost 44-40 in their recent non-league bout against Helena (Helena, AL)

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Childersburg Tigers (Childersburg, AL) in a 4A Area 9 game, on Friday, December 9. Ashville will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 5-3 record after their 55-46 league win over Oneonta (Oneonta, AL).
