Ohio High School Basketball - Lutheran East crushes Cleveland Central Catholic
January 11, 2024: Cleveland Heights, OH 44118 Lutheran East Falcons (Cleveland Heights, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen (Cleveland, OH), 63-17 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lutheran East upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 14. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Villa Angela-St. Joseph lost 68-32 in their recent non-league bout against Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH)
Next up, the Ironmen play the St. Martin de Porres Lions (Cleveland, OH) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, January 14. Cleveland Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 55-47 league win over Our Lady of the Elms (Akron, OH).
