North Carolina High School Basketball - Parkwood succumbs to Sun Valley

February 6, 2018: Monroe, NC 28112

The Sun Valley Spartans topped the host Parkwood Rebels basketball team by a final score of 83-70 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a Southern Carolina 3A game, on Friday, February 9. Sun Valley will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 15-8 record after their 71-59 league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).

With the defeat, Parkwood moves to 5-18 on the year. The Rebels host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to face the Redhawks in a Southern Carolina 3A game on Friday, February 9.
