Massachusetts High School Softball - Burlington bounces Lexington
April 7, 2022: Burlington, MA 01803 Burlington Red Devils (Burlington, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA), 14-2 in a league challenge.
The Red Devils now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stoneham for a Middlesex challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Burlington will face a Spartans squad coming off a 15-3 league loss to Winchester (Winchester, MA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Lexington falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Arlington (Arlington, MA) to face the Spy Ponders in a Middlesex challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Spy Ponders enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Arlington won 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Wilmington (Wilmington, MA)
