Virginia High School Baseball - Clarke County nudged by Gloversville
April 5, 2024: Berryville, VA 22611 The Gloversville Huskies/Dragons nudged the host Clarke County Eagles baseball team by a tally of 9-8 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Huskies/Dragons now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Glens Falls for a Section 2 Foothills bout on Tuesday, April 9. Gloversville will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Lake George (Lake George, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
Next, the Eagles face the Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA) in a Bull Run bout, on Monday, April 8. Clarke County will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 10-2 league win over Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA).
