Indiana High School Basketball - North Knox overwhelms Wood Memorial
February 19, 2022: Bicknell, IN 47512 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the North Knox Warriors (Bicknell, IN) and the visiting Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN), saw North Knox's basketball squad wallop Wood Memorial by a tally of 60-39.
With the victory, North Knox improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Loogootee (Loogootee, IN) to confront the Lions in a Blue Chip challenge on Thursday, February 24. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 17-5. Loogootee won 63-30 in their recent league challenge against Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Evansville Christian Eagles (Evansville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 21. Wood Memorial will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 78-66 non-league loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY).
