Texas High School Basketball - Nocona crushes Pottsboro
December 5, 2023: Nocona, TX 76255 Nocona Indians (Nocona, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pottsboro Cardinals (Pottsboro, TX), 57-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Nocona upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Indians host Throckmorton (Throckmorton, TX) to clash with the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Throckmorton lost 60-16 in their recent non-league bout against Eula (Clyde, TX)
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Pottsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
