California High School Football - Cathedral Catholic nips Helix

September 9, 2022: La Mesa, CA 91941

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Cathedral Catholic Dons football squad scored a close 14-13 victory over the Helix Highlanders.

In their next game, the Dons clash with the De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 16. Cathedral Catholic will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 35-3 non-league win over Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA).

The Highlanders (3-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Augustine (San Diego, CA). The Saints enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, St. Augustine held off Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA), 45-7, in a non-league match.
