Illinois High School Volleyball - Glenbard East can't hold off Prospect
September 16, 2011: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 In Friday's non-league battle, the host Prospect Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Glenbard East Rams.
The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Grenadiers come into the Mid-Suburban - East battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Elk Grove nudged Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Rams encounter the Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 17. Glenbard East will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Titans enter the test with a 6-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL).
