The Buford Wolves football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks to 7 in the Wolves non-league win on Friday.

The Wolves now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host North Cobb for a non-league battle on Friday, September 2. Buford will play a Warriors squad coming off a 21-17 non-league win over Westlake (Atlanta, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Mavericks play the South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 2. Mallard Creek will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Stallions go into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 35-0 non-league win over Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC).
