South Carolina High School Basketball - Dorchester Academy crushes Thomas Heyward Academy
December 5, 2022: St. George, SC 29477 Dorchester Academy Raiders (St. George, SC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels (Ridgeland, SC), 49-10 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Dorchester Academy upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Patrick Henry Academy (Estill, SC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Patrick Henry Academy lost 75-33 in their recent non-league bout against Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC)
Next up, the Rebels play the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors (Ehrhardt, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Thomas Heyward Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 34-15 non-league win over Holly Hill Academy (Holly Hill, SC).
