Arizona High School Basketball - Saguaro nips Mesquite

Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), 59-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Saguaro upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Sabercats travel to American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Patriots in a 4A Desert Sky bout on Tuesday, February 2. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 4-0. American Leadership Academy won 75-59 in their recent league bout against Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky bout, on Tuesday, February 2. Mesquite will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
