January 10, 2023: Granite City, IL 62040 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL) and the visiting Madison Trojans (Madison, IL), saw Granite City's basketball squad overcome Madison by a tally of 39-28.
With the victory, Granite City improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Lutheran North (St. Louis, MO) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 3-5.
Next up, the Trojans play the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Madison will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Wooden Shoes come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 53-40 non-league loss to St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL).
