Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Pickerington Central Tigers (Pickerington, OH), 6-0 in a league test.

With the win, Lancaster upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Golden Gales travel to Reynoldsburg (Reynoldsburg, OH) to battle the Raiders in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye test on Tuesday, May 10. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 6-5. Reynoldsburg lost 3-2 in their recent league match against Central Crossing (Grove City, OH)

The Tigers (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Groveport-Madison (Groveport, OH). The Cruisers go into the non-league match with a 2-13 record. In their last match, Groveport-Madison was overwhelmed by Newark (Newark, OH), 5-2, in a non-league match.
