The Thorndale Bulldogs basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Milano Eagles to 31 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holland for a 2A Region IV District 27 contest on Tuesday, February 1. Thorndale will battle a Hornets team coming off a 47-38 league win over Granger (Granger, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 15-12.

The Eagles (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hearne (Hearne, TX). The Eagles come into the 2A Region IV District 27 contest with a 21-10 record. In their last contest, Hearne prevailed over Thrall (Thrall, TX), 57-26, in a league contest.
