The Perry Traditional Academy Commodores basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Propel Montour Legends to 25 in the Commodores non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Commodores now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carrick for a Pittsburgh City contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Legends (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity Christian (Pittsburgh, PA). The Falcons come into the Southwestern Pennsylvania contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Trinity Christian dropped by Nazareth Prep (Pittsburgh, PA), 39-37, in a league contest.
