The West Charlotte Lions tipped the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings basketball team by a final score of 62-61 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Lions face the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) in a 4A I-Meck test, on Friday, January 27. West Charlotte will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 2-10 record after their 46-41 league loss to Vance (Charlotte, NC).
