Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) and the host Northview Knights (Brazil, IN), saw Linton-Stockton's baseball squad edge Northview by a count of 5-4.

Coming up next, the Miners play the Clay City Eels (Clay City, IN) in a Southwestern Indiana battle, on Thursday, April 18. Linton-Stockton will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Eels enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 7-6 non-league win over South Vermillion (Clinton, IN).
