Game Summary
The JV won its first game of the year, away at McNamara, behind a much improved hitting performance from the shutout loss to Gonzaga. Sophomore Will Crooks led the charge with two doubles and The Heights took advantage of some early walks to get comfortable at the plate. Although the team left a multitude of runners on base through three innings, the score was still tied 4-4 and four more runs in the next two innings closed out a strong hitting McNamara team. Freshmen Stefan Eliopoulos and Joe Bruchalski pitched and held off McNamara despite nine hits and six walks. Hopefully this will be the first of many wins.
