South Dakota High School Basketball - Douglas tops Hot Springs
December 14, 2023: Box Elder, SD 57719 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) and the visiting Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD), saw Douglas's basketball squad knock off Hot Springs by a count of 43-27.
With the victory, Douglas upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE) to play the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Scottsbluff lost 57-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Cody (Cody, WY)
Next up, the Bison play the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) in a A Region 8 challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Hot Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 44-14 non-league win over New Underwood (New Underwood, SD).
