December 28, 2010: Seneca, IL 61360 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) basketball squad nipped the visiting Hinckley-Big Rock Royals (Hinckley, IL), by a count of 48-43.
The Fighting Irish (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Blue Devils go into the Interstate Eight outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Peotone nipped Watseka (Watseka, IL), 47-44, in a non-league outing.
The Royals now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Somonauk for a Little Ten outing on Friday, January 7. Hinckley-Big Rock will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 61-55 non-league loss to Plano (Plano, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-6.
