Tennessee High School Basketball - Briarcrest Christian overwhelms South Cobb
December 28, 2009: Eads, TN 38028 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN) and the visiting South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), saw Briarcrest Christian's basketball squad trounce South Cobb by a count of 66-44.
With the victory, Briarcrest Christian upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Saints travel to St. Agnes Academy (Memphis, TN) to play the Stars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 5. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. St. Agnes Academy lost 57-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairley (Memphis, TN)
Next up, the Eagles play the Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) in a 5-AAAAA challenge, on Tuesday, January 5. South Cobb will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 47-29 league win over East Paulding (Dallas, GA).
