Lee Williams Volunteers (Kingman, AZ) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Coconino Panthers (Flagstaff, AZ), 1-0 in a league test.

The Volunteers now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Flagstaff for a 4A Grand Canyon test on Tuesday, January 25.

With the loss, Coconino drops to 3-4 on the season. The Panthers host Prescott (Prescott, AZ) to meet the Badgers in a 4A Grand Canyon test on Thursday, January 20. The Badgers come into the test with a record of 8-0. Prescott won 7-0 in their recent league test against Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ)
