The New Bern Bears routed the host West Craven Eagles basketball team by a final score of 70-48 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 19 game, on Tuesday, December 13. New Bern will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 0-5 record after their 48-45 non-league loss to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC).
