The Sharpsville Blue Devils crushed the visiting Mercer Mustangs baseball team by a count of 12-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host North East for a non-league bout on Friday, May 10. Sharpsville will face a Grape Pickers team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Northwestern (Albion, PA). The Grape Pickers record now stands at 3-9.

Next, the Mustangs face the Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 9. Mercer will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 16-3 record after their 9-4 league loss to Riverside (Ellwood City, PA).
