Oklahoma High School Basketball - Del City prevails Norman
December 6, 2011: Norman, OK 73069 Del City Eagles (Del City, OK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Norman Tigers (Norman, OK), 71-53 in a league challenge.
With the victory, Del City improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a Mid-State challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Edmond Memorial won 71-49 in their recent league challenge against Midwest City (Midwest City, OK)
Next up, the Tigers play the Dallas HSAA North Blue Angels (Plano, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Norman will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Blue Angels come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 65-42 non-league win over HSE Kangaroos (Devonport, Australia) (, ).
