The Wasco Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Taft Wildcats to 40 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodlake for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 7. Wasco will meet a Tigers team coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to Exeter (Exeter, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.

The Wildcats (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Corcoran (Corcoran, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Corcoran was defeated by Foothill (Bakersfield, CA), 59-50, in a non-league contest.
