Illinois High School Basketball - Argo holds off Stagg
November 13, 2018: Summit, IL 60501 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) and the visiting Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL), saw Argo's basketball squad hold off Stagg by a tally of 65-61.
With the victory, Argo improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Argonauts travel to Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL) to confront the Blazing Trojan in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 17. The Blazing Trojan come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Chargers confront the Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 16. Stagg will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 42-40 non-league loss to Rich East (Park Forest, IL).
