Texas High School Basketball - Notre Dame Catholic can't hold off Vernon

December 10, 2016: Wichita Falls, TX 76309

The Vernon Lions basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Notre Dame Catholic Knights to 43 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 13. Vernon will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 47-38 non-league win over Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX).

With the defeat, Notre Dame Catholic moves to 3-3 on the year. The Knights host Quanah (Quanah, TX) to meet the Indians in a non-league match on Monday, December 12. The Indians enter the match with a record of 0-3.
