Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Panther Valley ripped by Blue Mountain
January 19, 2017: Lansford, PA 18232 The Blue Mountain Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Panther Valley Panthers to 23 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennett for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Blue Mountain will battle a Blue Demons team coming off a 39-36 league win over Unionville (Kennett Square, PA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 8-6.
The Panthers (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA). The Blue Raiders enter the Schuylkill County 1 contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Tamaqua was routed by North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA), 62-27, in a league contest.
