Virginia High School Basketball - Episcopal can't hold off Georgetown Prep

February 3, 2017: Alexandria, VA 22302

The Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Episcopal Maroon to 58 in the Little Hoyas league victory on Friday.

The Little Hoyas now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Landon for a Interstate Athletic bout on Wednesday, February 8. Georgetown Prep will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 68-65 league loss to Bullis (Potomac, MD). The Bears record now stands at 7-13.

Next up, the Maroon clash with the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 72-34 league loss to Maret (Washington, DC).
