The Westminster Wildcats basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Clarkston Angoras to 46 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitewater for a non-league contest on Friday, December 20. Westminster will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 78-62 non-league win over Our Lady of Mercy (Fairburn, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-2.

The Angoras (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chamblee (Chamblee, GA). The Bulldogs enter the AAAAA Region 5 contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Chamblee was outscored by Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA), 37-31, in a league contest.
