Michigan High School Basketball - Shepherd ripped by Meridian
February 19, 2019: Shepherd, MI 48883 The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Shepherd Bluejays to 40 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roscommon for a Jack Pine contest on Wednesday, February 20. Meridian will meet a Bucks team coming off a 61-53 non-league win over Pinconning (Pinconning, MI). The Bucks record now stands at 11-7.
The Bluejays (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Freeland (Freeland, MI). The Falcons enter the Tri-Valley - Central contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Freeland was routed by Alma (Alma, MI), 73-61, in a league contest.
