Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Zurich crushes Naperville Central

Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL), 48-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Zurich upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bears host Zion-Benton (Zion, IL) to play the Zee-Bees in a North Suburban bout on Wednesday, December 5. The Zee-Bees go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Zion-Benton lost 52-49 in their recent league bout against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL)

Next up, the Redhawks play the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 4. Naperville Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 60-43 league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL).
