California High School Basketball - Pleasant Grove trounced by Pittsburg
January 18, 2020: Pittsburg, CA 94565 The Pittsburg Pirates routed the visiting Pleasant Grove Eagles basketball squad by a count of 67-38 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
With the victory, Pittsburg upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Deer Valley (Antioch, CA) to play the Wolverines in a Bay Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 21. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Deer Valley lost 64-21 in their recent non-league challenge against KIPP King (San Lorenzo, CA)
Next up, the Eagles play the St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) in a Delta League challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Pleasant Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Troubadours come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 51-45 league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA).
