In Thursday's league outing, the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) basketball squad beat the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), by a count of 53-41.

The Vikings (21-2) will now prepare for their outing against Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 8-14 record. In their last outing, Randolph Southern was topped by Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN), 52-43, in a non-league outing.

The Golden Bears now hold a 12-10 record.
