January 24, 2023: Watertown, CT 06795 Bristol Eastern Lancers (Bristol, CT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Watertown Indians (Watertown, CT), 70-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bristol Eastern upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Maloney (Meriden, CT) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Maloney lost 78-70 in their recent non-league bout against Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT)
Next up, the Indians play the Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Watertown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 86-57 non-league loss to Wilby (Waterbury, CT).
