December 28, 2023: Johnsburg, IL 60050 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL) and the host Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL), saw Hoffman Estates's basketball squad knock off Johnsburg by a count of 61-48.
With the victory, Hoffman Estates upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Hawks host North Chicago (North Chicago, IL) to play the Warhawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-13. North Chicago lost 65-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL)
Next up, the Skyhawks play the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Johnsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
