Spectators at Friday's league battle between the New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX) and the visiting Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX), saw New Braunfels's baseball squad knock off Steele by a count of 8-2.

Coming up next, the Unicorns play the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 battle, on Tuesday, April 5. New Braunfels will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the battle with a 8-12 record after their 7-0 league loss to East Central (San Antonio, TX).

The Knights now possess a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clemens for a 6A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, April 5. Steele will play a Buffaloes squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 5-10.
