The Rockcastle County Rockets basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Pulaski County Maroons to 55 in the Rockets league triumph on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Estill County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24.

The Maroons (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Knott County Central (Hindman, KY). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Knott County Central was nudged by Perry County Central (Hazard, KY), 65-50, in a non-league contest.
