Iowa High School Basketball - Kuemper overwhelms Creston
January 19, 2024: Carroll, IA 51401 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) and the visiting Creston Panthers (Creston, IA), saw Kuemper's basketball squad wallop Creston by a count of 91-65.
With the victory, Kuemper upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Glenwood (Glenwood, IA) to play the Rams in a Hawkeye Ten challenge on Monday, January 22. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Glenwood lost 59-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Freeman (Adams, NE)
Next up, the Panthers play the Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten challenge, on Monday, January 22. Creston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 63-52 non-league loss to Clarinda (Clarinda, IA).
