Idaho High School Football - Council routed by Horseshoe Bend
October 19, 2018: Council, ID 83612 In Friday's league game, the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs (Horseshoe Bend, ID) football team overwhelmed the host Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID), by a score of 52-6.
The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Garden Valley (Garden Valley, ID). The Wolverines come into the 1A Long Pin (8 Man) challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Garden Valley trounced Cascade (Cascade, ID), 66-6, in a league challenge.
The Lumberjacks now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salmon River for a 1A Long Pin (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 26. Council will meet a Savages team coming off a 44-14 league win over Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID). The Savages record now stands at 5-3.
