The Scotland Fighting Scots basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Red Springs Red Devils to 37 in the Fighting Scots non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Fighting Scots now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Lee for a 3A/4A Conference 24 contest on Friday, December 10. Scotland will face a Cavaliers team coming off a 57-13 league loss to Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Red Springs moves to 0-5 on the year. The Red devils host Lumberton (Lumberton, NC) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Thursday, December 9. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 1-3. Lumberton lost 63-18 in their recent non-league match against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC)
