Oklahoma High School Basketball - Altus nips Vernon
November 29, 2022: Altus, OK 73521 Altus Bulldogs (Altus, OK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Vernon Lions (Vernon, TX), 63-57 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Altus upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Cache (Cache, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a Western - South bout on Friday, December 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Lions play the Poolville Monarchs (Poolville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Monarchs come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 44-41 non-league loss to Huckabay (Stephenville, TX).
